1. REGISTRATION: Schedule of Online classes for learning Odissi, Bharatnatyam & Kathak Dances.

   Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi in collaboration with Routes2Roots, an organisation working in the area of digital learning of performing arts and Centre for Cultural Resources and Training, an autonomous organisation under Ministry of Culture of Government of lndia, is conducting online classes w.e.f. 15th January, 2024 for Kathak, Bharatnatyam and Odissi dance forms. The duration of the course for each discipline will be one year and certificates will be given to successful candidates. The classes will be held by the renowned Indian Artists as per the following details:

3. REGISTRATION WILL BE OPENED TILL 28 December, 2023.

4. Registration fees payable in advance per student for the one year session in each discipline will be as follows:

a. Equivalent to US$ 20/- for Kathak Dance

b. Equivalent to US$ 20/- for Bharatnatyam Dance

c. Equivalent to US$ 20/- for Odissi Dance

5. Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs) for registration of students for online Kathak, Bharatnatyam and Odissi Classes

a) The total duration for the course in each discipline will be one

b) The classes will be divided in four trimesters of three month

c) The bio-data of teachers alongwith syllabus and lesson plan for first trimester is attached herewith for reference and the lesson plan for remaining trimesters will be shared in due course of time

d)The Minimum age for registration in the courses will be 17 years.

e) The fees for one year class will be US$20/- which will be collected by the Missions/Posts/Indian Cultural Centers(ICCs) at the time of

f) The classes will commence from 15th January, 2024 onwards at 03:00PM(IST) for Odissi students every Monday, for Bharatnatyam students every Wednesday and for Kathak students every Friday.

g) English language will be the medium of instructions.

h) The candidates can register for one or more disciplines.

i) There will be no midterm admission of any candidate.

9. The link, username and password for classes will be shared on confirmation of payment. The participants will be able to access the classes online. The infrastructure/ technical requirements for attending the classes is as under:

a) A computer/ LED Display preferably 55 inches and above with webcam and microphone

b) Internet connection

10. The CCRT will conduct periodic evaluation of the students and issue certificates to the students on successful completion of the courses with minimum 75% attendance.
